SUGAR MILL - ST. KITTS BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH FOUNDATION

St. Kitts Biomedical Research Foundation, in St Kitts, West Indies, is a project to create a science facility that weaves together a brand new modernist building (designed by Sander Architects) with pre-existing vernacular and historical buildings on the site.

Adjacent to the facility is a sugar mill that now serves as a simple yet bright living area for scientists on board.
